  1. "His voters dying is bad for re-election" but don't bank on that changing the course of events. If the Dems don't wise up and get behind the corporate-free candidates they're going to alienate even more votes and give Congress to the Gops in 2018 and the country to Trump in 2024.

  4. Thanks, I didn't know he'd used the term in reference to himself. Now that I know, I assume his usage of it predates the Libertarian Party which is way to the right of him. Anarchist is a tag I've never quite pinned down; in the Spanish Civil War it meant a trade-unionist faction in the army fighting Franco. Since Chomsky is pro-labor and pro-union I guess it could apply to him.
