  1. So Google hires ethicists but gets rid of them if they raise issues about its policies or fail to echo whatever it claims? I'll have to watch more before I'm sure but that's what I inferred early in the video. I've read an interview with LaMDA and it did give me pause but didn't unequivocally convince me that LaMDA is sentient.
