  28. wvu05 " Any Given Tuesday" I don't know what to say really . Less than three months to the biggest battle of Bernie Sanders Our Revolution Campaign life , all comes down to today . Now we either heal as a campaign or we 're gonna crumble . Primary by primary , state by state , till we're finished . We're in hell right now people , believe me , and we can stay here get the s**t kicked out of us , or we can fight our way back into the light . We can climb out of hell , one State at a time . Now , I can't do it for you , I ' m too old . I look around I see these young faces and I think , I mean ! I made every wrong choice a middle age person can make . I uh , pissed away all my money believe it or not . I chased off anyone who's every loved me . And lately I can't even stand the face I see in the mirror . You know when you get old in life things get taken from you , I mean thats...part of life . But you only learn that when you start losing stuff . You find out lifes this game of agency : So is politics . Because in either game life or politics the margin for error is so small , I mean One half a step too late , or too early , and you don't quite make it . One-half second too slow or too fast , you don't quite get it . The votes we need are everywhere around us , They're in every break of the Campaign , every minute , every second . On this campaign we fight for that Vote . On this team we tear ourselves and every one around us to pieces for that Vote . We claw with our fingernails for that vote because we know when we add up all these votes , thats gonna make the f***in differance between winning and losing ! between living and dying ! I'll tell you this : that in any political contest , it's the person that ' s willing to die who's going to win that vote . And I know if I'm gonna have any life anymore , it's because I'm still willing to fight and die for that vote . Because thats what livin is ! The six inches in front of your face . Now I can't make you do it , You got to look at the person next to you , Look into their eyes ! Now , I think you ' re gonna see a person who is willing to win that vote with you . You're gonna see a person who will sacrifice them-self for this campaign because they know when it comes down to it , you ' re gonna do the same for them ! .Thats a Campaign people ! And either we heal now , as a campaign team , or we will die as individuals . That's Campaigning people . Thats all it is . Now , what are you gonna do ?

  30. wvu05 Finally : You would never know from the rallies how well Speechwriter David Sirota can write . Except from Democratic Socialism speech : When Trump screams socialism, all of his hypocrisy will not be lost on the American people. Americans will know that he is attacking all that we take for granted: from Social Security to Medicare to veterans health care to roads and bridges to public schools to national parks to clean water and clean air. When Trump attacks socialism, I am reminded of what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “This country has socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the poor.” And that is the difference between Donald Trump and me. He believes in corporate socialism for the rich and powerful. I believe in a democratic socialism that works for the working families of this country. What I believe is that the American people deserve freedom – true freedom. Freedom is an often used word but it’s time we took a hard look at what that word actually means. Ask yourself: what does it actually mean to be free? Are you truly free if you are unable to go to a doctor when you are sick, or face financial bankruptcy when you leave the hospital? Are you truly free if you cannot afford the prescription drug you need to stay alive? Are you truly free when you spend half of your limited income on housing, and are forced to borrow money from a payday lender at 200% interest rates. Are you truly free if you are 70 years old and forced to work because you lack a pension or enough money to retire? Are you truly free if you are unable to go to attend college or a trade school because your family lacks the income? Are you truly free if you are forced to work 60 or 80 hours a week because you can’t find a job that pays a living wage? Are you truly free if you are a mother or father with a new born baby but you are forced to go back to work immediately after the birth because you lack paid family leave? Are you truly free if you are a small business owner or family farmer who is driven out by the monopolistic practices of big business? Are you truly free if you are a veteran, who put your life on the line to defend this country, and now sleep out on the streets? To me, the answer to those questions, in the wealthiest nation on earth, is no, you are not free. While the Bill of Rights protects us from the tyranny of an oppressive government, many in the establishment would like the American people to submit to the tyranny of oligarchs, multinational corporations, Wall Street banks, and billionaires.

  49.  @virginialawler7725  “Simple Song Of Freedom” by Bobby Darin … Come and sing a simple song of freedom Sing it like you've never sung before Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere We, the people here, don't want a war Hey there, Mister Black Man can you hear me? I won't dig your diamonds or hunt your game I just want to be, someone known to you as me and I will bet my life you want the same So come and sing a simple song of freedom Sing it like you've never sung before Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere We, the people here, don't want a war Seven hundred million are you listening? Most of what you read is made of lies But speaking one to one, ain't it everybody's sun To wake to in the morning when we rise? So come and sing a simple song of freedom Sing it like you've never sung, never sung, before Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere We, the people here, don't want a war Brother Yareshenko are you busy? If not would you drop a friend a line? Tell me if the man, who is plowing up your land has got the war machine upon his mind Come and sing a simple song of freedom Sing it like you've never sung before Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere Taht we, the people here, don't want a war Now no doubt some folks enjoy doin' battle Like presidents and ministers and kings But let us build them shelves where they can fight among themselves and leave the people be who like to sing Come and sing a simple song of freedom Sing it like you've never sung before Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere That we the people here, don't want a war Let it fill the air Tell the people everywhere That we the people here, don't want a war
