  1. agree with you on almost everything except "militarization " of police, try wearing that Batman belt and going to the bathroom! the tactical vests get weight off your hips, ergonomically better, allow you to carry more stuff and better for your back. As for military vehicles how about you run out there when there is wounded with no cover
