  1. Technically they answer to the executive branch and legislative but in reality the permanent bureaucracy answers to no one, both are basically like the mafia. The CIA has been rogue for 70 years, the FBI was mostly reformed after J Edgar Hoover died but now is back to being corrupt, I worked at the FBI during the Obama era and that is when it started to be changed into the police state arm of the Democratic Party.

Styx did you see Romanian TV story on CEO testifying before Texas Senate that he was black mailed by Credit Suisse to Tweet overtly political messages like man made global warming is real etc or they would not give his company anymore loans (had over $1 billion over the last 15 years). How much of corporations, studios and actors etc radical leftist tweets, scripts etc were due to financial black mail by woke banks?
