Well if we do not get access to most of the Rare Earth minerals in Ukraine we better get those in Greenland because if we do not we are still utterly dependent on China to keep all our high tech industry going and defense high tech. There is also the strategic defense issue that is critical with Greenland's location, the reason 4 other Presidents have tried to buy it. Greenland should have the status Puerto Rico has, basically independent, we just handle defense and foreign affairs.
