Signature Bank is not a regional bank, it has branches coast to coast, North and South, it has $110 billion in assets and is a top 40 bank, it is smaller than SVB which had $209 billion but it is still big. Look for First Republic to be next, a San Francisco based bank with $180 billion in assets, it was experiencing bank runs all day Saturday and required a cash infusion loan from JP Morgan to stay afloat this weekend. A finance guy did a video going over all the many similarities the SVB collapse has with the March 2008 collapse of Bear Stearns, which was the canary in the coal mine for the September 2008 market wide collapse.
