  1. There are videos of Israeli hostages grabbed by Hamas both civilians and IDF soldiers. Last I read was 100+ Israeli dead and a 1000+ injured. Although Israel is not without sin in this situation BUT through the years they have offered a two state solution with a fully independent Palestine in the West Bank and Gaza multiple times and the Palestinians reject it every time, they really will not even seriously negotiate over it because they want all of the region apparently so I have lost most of my previous sympathy for the Palestinians.
