  1. dems have to defend far more seats in Senate than GOP, like 25 seats with ten in Red states while GOP has to defend zero seats in blue states, GOP likely to win all ten Senate seats in Red states giving them a super majority with just 8 seats meaning dems will be completely powerless plus GOP has been killing them at the state level, HOP is just 1 more state legislature away from being able to convene a constitutional convention and win all votes there meaning they could change the constitution any way they see fit, including making it even harder for dems to win and further enshrining first and second amendments
