  1. Indians from here freak out when they go back to India, I know I married into a Indian family, they mock FOBS etc, but he is NOT wrong on India vs China in any regard.

US and India just signed a defense technology agreement, the kind we have with only a few of our top allies, US also is selling to them a high end drone that we have never sold to anyone that was not in NATO and India is expected to sign a huge deal with NATO member Sweden's Saab for a huge purchase of Gripen fighter jets rather than Russia where they got most jets in the past. India is moving closer to the West and that is because they love Trump and fear of an aggressive expansionist China. I would argue India already in some areas is militarily better than China, their soldiers are far better trained relying on Western training models rather than old Communist doctrine and their technology is better, there is no question their carriers are superior to China's for example and their jet fighter fleet as well. In general Indian products work like Mahindra for example, not so much Chinese products.
