The Northwest is not blue, Portland and Seattle are blue thanks to massive amounts of Californians moving to those two cities the last couple of decades allowing them to politically take over, the rest of the Northwest is deep red. FYI the GOP candidate came within a hair of winning governor's race in Oregon in 2022 and the GOP won the lone swing Congressional district, the only one not heavily gerrymandered.
