  1. China and the EU have screwed us on tariffs for years, time they got a dose of their own medicine, China has crushed our nations manufacturing which is a threat to our national security. Trump also proved last time tariffs have limited effect on inflation. The US supported itself on tariffs before the income tax existed.

If you want to know which NATO countries pay for their own defense the required 2% of GDP just draw a line along the former Iron Curtain, funny how all the countries that suffered for decades under the Russian boot on their necks realize they need to be able to defend themselves still against a Russia ruled by a former KGB Colonel. Also note how the majority of former Communist countries are right wing while the Western European countries foolishly experiment with socialism because they never suffered under the Marxist boot of Russia.
