I appreciated two things about Pompeo, first he is vehemently anti communist, second his epic call out at the Governor's association meeting where he basically told them we are aware several of you are way too close to Communist China and we are watching you, I loved that. Where Pompeo lost me is he was the screaming voice behind convincing Trump not to declassify the Kennedy assassination files and second his lobbying for Assange to stay in prison for ever basically for just publishing the truth. He actually was pretty good at conveying Trump's message to various foreign bad guys, be good or else, but I would rather not have that lets keep everything secret mentality around in government.
