The NW went from swing to blue because hordes of White liberal urban Californians moved to the metro Portland and metro Seattle/Puget Sound areas, fleeing the California mess they created, causing both metro areas to explode in population and go from liberal cities to crazy lunatic leftist cities. Voters in the NW outside the Portland and Seattle metro areas no longer have a voice at all. I remember Oregon when I was a kid having a GOP Governor and both Senators, back then both states were great places to live even in the cities, now they are filthy crime ridden shite holes where citizens are stripped of their basic rights.
