  1. I have met him, he lives in a small town I worked in, truly nice guy as far as I can tell, not great at politics sadly, that is why he lost IMO in 2022, hopefully he does better this year.

  3. I think it affected him to the point he is basically a isolationist now, its the reason IMO he lost his congressional race in a strong GOP district, he should have won, that isolationism did not go over well with certain demographics in the GOP base in his district(I lived there for years).

  8. ISA is not just bad ass soldier go get them types like him, its intel people like his wife, God rest her soul and tech spy types etc. Its mission from what little I know is broad.

  9. He is a good guy despite going to work at the CIA, bad decision, he is a good guy as I said but he has a tendency to speak from I think emotion and not common sense and it cost him the election in a district he should have won.

  12. I hope he has learned from his mistakes last time, no way a leftist Dem should have won that district, I lived there for years. He seems looser and more at ease which will help, he was stiff, never smiled hardly etc last time. The other issue is his isolationist stance does not play well with certain demographics that are important in the GOP base in that district, know your base and speak accordingly, its kind of like owning a business and insulting part of your customer base, its a bad idea.

  13.  @drakobby6418  CIA does not play nice with others, sharing vital Intel etc. They are NOT team players, they often act like we are not all on the same side, maybe we are not? My opinion is colored perhaps by the fact I worked at another agency that usually did not have a healthy relationship with the CIA but who does?

  14.  @metatron5199  The CIA has been caught not even sharing Intel that could save lives and for no apparent reason (did not threaten opsec) remember Congressional investigations after 9-11 all the way back to the Church commission. I worked at another agency, the CIA does not play well with others and often acts like we are all not even on the same side, maybe we are not?
