Before you defend this guy be aware he is NOT right wing, he has a strange mix of ideology, he is more like a old anti Western Soviet Communist Nationalist type. FYI he is a RABID anti Semite. Voters in Romania when polled after the election had almost no clue what his policies or ideology was, he was the beneficiary of a protest vote, the voters were basically clowning the establishment with a vote for this almost unknown guy because they did not like any of the alternatives, he literally polled in the single digits right before the election. He may win the new election but if he does I can guarantee its more of a protest vote, this time against the election being cancelled rather than for him. Romanians like the West, they hate Russia (if you know history you know why) and they do not like anti Semites.
