My God people have short memories, Obama put a arms embargo on Ukraine after the 2014 invasion so as not "escalate" 🙄the situation, Trump was highly critical of that and lifted it the minute he got in office and sold Ukraine weapons, he then threatened to bomb Moscow if they invaded again, quote "all those beautiful domes" in reference to the Kremlin. He has in the last year basically said if Russia refuses to negotiate and agree to something reasonable he will dump weapons on Ukraine. Trump also appointed a anti Russian hardliner in General Kellogg as his Special Envoy to Ukraine and Russia.
