I have been a firefighter for nearly twenty years, whenever you get extreme high winds limbs come down and knock down power lines starting fires, that is why every early June before fire season our fire dept sent out rigs to drive power lines and walk power lines in rural areas to document limbs over power lines then sent the coordinates of those to the power company with orders to cut the limbs.

  2. The sirens worked, the local authorities chose not to use them, the fire hydrants worked but state official chose to cut off access to additional water when it was needed. This was on local and state officials incompetence and bad decisions.
