I grew up in Southern Oregon back then 30+ years ago he would have never survived, that is no joke either, the Douglas County Sheriff started a group of retired detectives for all the cold cases he had, they later became known as the Cold Case Cowboys, some books and a movie were made about them, many cases were simple cases of old West Justice.

  5. Biggest issue is Soros Prosecutor refuses to prosecute crimes. The defunding of police really does not matter, Portland cannot hire enough police as is because NO ONE wants to work there, shocked they found 16 desperate people, I know I worked in LE in the metro area.

  9. You forgot to mention dangerous, I refuse to go to downtown Portland, I used to be down there all the time at pubs, restaurants, special events etc. Not just homeless, vacancies etc.

My friend got cut off for 3 months they said they "over payed" him which was wrong, finally they got it "fixed" they finally paid him for 8 out of the 13 weeks they cut him off but still owe him for 5 weeks. They requested a bunch of ID to prove his identity via mail but they gave him just a few days after it was mailed to do it before they cut off his benefits, he literally got the letter 2 days before they cut it off and he could not get in touch with anyone for over a week. They also only mailed the notice even though he was listed as an email only contact. He said often he would call for two straight weeks or more before he could actually contact a human, he was told by one person they were MONTHS behind on reading emails so emailing is useless. I had to loan him several thousand dollars to get him by until they paid him, he still owes me money from the 5 weeks they still have not paid him, he has an email and a letter saying he is/was eligible for unemployment those 5 weeks but it has been 3+ months and he has still not been paid. My friend said in one week he got six emails half of which contradicted the other half.

Grants Pass is right on I-5, if you driven South on I-5 to Cali you have been there (Home of Dutch Brothers Coffee), it is about 30 minutes NW of Medford in Josephine County on the Rogue River, if you go 30 minutes West of Grants Pass you are in the Coast Mountains and in Curry County. Veneta is near Eugene and they have a big hippy festival there every year if I recall. That area around the Rogue River in Curry County is mostly National Forest.
