  2.  @DrDashajacsonaleksan  The Russian ego is so huge that it obliterates all logic. Kaliningrad would be occupied by NATO within a week under land, air and sea attack, meanwhile Finnish and NATO troops would be marching on Murmansk and St. Petersburg.

  6. Russia under Yeltsin offered to sell Kaliningrad back to Germany but Germany did not want several hundred thousand ethnic Russian citizens, they could have just deported them all, pay Yeltsin enough he would have been fine with that, but Germans were too much a bunch of wimps to do that.
