Probably Russia planning a massive Spring offensive while Ukraine is running out of artillery shells and has only got a third of the stuff NATO has promised and what they have got was delayed months. Its not a great situation and much of the blame goes to certain NATO countries, look at the US we refuse to even give them the 21 Mig-29's we own, not a single jet or helicopter, we gave them a measly 31 tanks out of the 3450 we have in monthballs. NATO has given them only a third of the tanks experts said was minimum needed for a offensive.

  2. A possible option for France is the Foreign Legion, they are 8000 strong and could have a bigger impact than regular French Spec Ops of a couple hundred guys at most. Since the Legion kind of fits in a weird place, they may be less controversial to be sent than regular French Troops, they are not French Citizens so the French people do not get upset when they get killed. FYI Estonian PM also called for troops to be sent to Ukraine.

The Gauguz situation can be solved by one phone call to Turkey, they are a Turkic people and Turkey wants to keep influence over them rather than Russia, get the Turkish ambassador to Moldova to talk to them and promise them something, maybe education aid etc and it will be good like every other time they act up, its always a ploy to get something. How it usually starts is privately Russia gives them money to start complaining and cause trouble, destabilize Moldova then Moldova or Turkey give them aid $$$ or something else to get them back in line.

  5.  @troelsersking101 Have you seen the Moldova's army? A bunch of Texas boy scouts could take them out. A couple thousand Russian troops plus the ten thousand or so regular Transnistrian troops could do it, in addition they have thousands of Transnistrian reserves and how many of those 220,000 Russian citizens there are actually reserve soldiers?
