I am part of one of those large disaster response NGO's as a medic and SAR K9 handler, we were far more efficient almost a decade ago when we were small and did not concern ourselves with politics or anything else, when tragedy struck we just went as a rapid response unit copying the military special operations units we were patterned after since most involved with us were military veterans or firefighters, now we are big and run by bureaucrats.

95% of the media cannot be trusted in any country, I have been involved in various emergency services for many years and I know for a fact the media even in the West regularly lie by omission, misrepresent and outright lie to the people.
