I have been a HUGE Bond fan since I was a child but even as a child I loathed the Lazenby version, made well before I existed and the Timothy Dalton version which was a woke simpy Bond well before that era actually started. I have never liked Craig as Bond in part because he made it obvious he considered the role beneath his snobbish elitist stage acting talents, he took the role for the money and proceeded to do a very mediocre version of Bond no where close to Connery, Moore or Brosnan, all of whom were born to play the role. The new Woke Bond is just the nail in the coffin of a slowly dying epic franchise.

  2. Obviously the Drinker like many has intentional amnesia regarding the proto-woke Timothy Dalton era disaster. I love Bond and want it to continue BUT watching its slow death under the Craig era has been painful, honestly I want it to end if Hollywood refuses to do it right and right being like Connery, Moore and Brosnan played it, a wonderfully alpha male character who does not give a damn about the twisted woke version of "morality". Bond is a Alpha Male Brit or Celt with a serious anti authority attitude and is a unapologetic player with the ladies if you cannot do it that way just quit.
