Absolutely, it was popular just because of SJW BS, they also did the character no favors by writing him as such a rude unlikeable jerk, he is only a bit more likeable than Captain Marvel and his fellow Wakandans, his dad was the only nice guy in the whole fake country.   10. Sorry below average, worst writing in Marvel outside Captain Marvel and worst special effect bar none of the Marvel movies, fights scenes so fake looking. As for his acting, he could have been the world's best actor ever and no one would know because the character was so poorly written and only slightly more likable than Captain Marvel, although he is charming compared to other Wakandans who all come off as a-holes, only nice friendly Wakandan was his dad.
