He just should have fulfilled his commitments to Yellowstone first, he basically just walked away screwing them over before that story was done, show a little gratitude because Yellowstone resurrected his career and without it Horizon probably never would have been made.

Not so much BUT it could have been if they simply followed very closely the incredible (and rather short) award winning novel its based upon. I am sitting in the county whose people played the key part in that novel and frankly am a little bitter they did not follow the wonderful novel closer.

The cinematography in Costner films, even the bad ones are stunning. This project sounds like it would have been MUCH better suited to be a TV miniseries like on Paramount or Netflix. I am honestly still VERY bitter against Costner for leaving Yellowstone before that magnificent series ran its course. I love epic Westerns so I am sad this did not live up to it potential. One of Costner's bombs the Postman could have been a epic if they had simply closely followed the rather short book its based upon, one of those books you are upset when its done.
