The last question from the reporter was very biased, this is the fifth US President who has tried to buy Greenland for its strategic defensive position, previous attempts were made in 1867, 1910, 1917 and 1946. Denmark is simply not capable of defending Greenland. If the Russian or Chinese navy seized Southern Greenland they could completely shut down shipping between North America and Europe and a new reason for the US desperately wanting Greenland is it is likely the second biggest source of rare Earth minerals after China, Communist China now controls these vital minerals which we must have for modern technology and defense needs, China has us by our collective throats. By law Greenland has a right to decide its future and a recent poll found 57%+ wanted to join the US, either the EU respects democracy or it does not.
