I passed my polygraph test as a LEO no problem, granted mine took maybe an hour and he spent much of it making me laugh so I would relax, hardest part is they ask embarrassing questions, you just have to suck it up and answer honestly. hardest part to becoming LEO is two things, some agencies judge people on financial history with no slack damage done by layoffs, divorce, medical bills etc.second really hard part is academy defensive tactics, you do the same throws over and over for months and are the bad guy your partner practices on, it results injuries from the repetition, I knew former special forces guys half way through academy who could barely raise their arm above their head, they need new training methods in that regard and there is no valid reason to have a poly last 8 hours not to discard people with financial difficulties thanks to our terrible economy
