Its not ashamed its that Hillary supporters go crazy making a scene, they have no control over their emotions, they will make a scene even at work or at family functions, they have zero tolerance for alternate opinions, just look at some of those videos from that comedian who went to RNC pretending to be a Hillary supporter vs going to the DNC where he pretended to be a Trump supporter, he was harassed, surrounded, threatened and spat upon and worse has happened with brutal attacks from behind or mob attacks. For the sake keeping the peace Trump supporters are the ones acting like adults for the most part and keeping things quiet and thus civil. I think we have a HUGE case of the so called Bradley effect or as they call it in the UK where they have the angry intolerant left as well they call it the "shy Tory effect"
