He is right to put everything in play, perfect example is the DNC in 2008, Howard Dean then Chair had his "50 state strategy" where he surrendered nothing and he was lambasted by Dem pundits (and GOP) yet they not only won states not won in decades by a Democratic Presidential candidate but won seats in the House and Senate from solid "red" states and Governors as well, it was the best Dems had done in decades. Reagan surrendered nothing to Carter and won in many blue states. Yes Trump's chances are small in some places but just taking the fact NY is his home state as an example, upstate which basically is everything north of NYC has loads of Republicans, Independents and Conservative blue collar Dems that is why NY has elected Republican Governors, Trump will win that area going away meaning he can win the state if he can just make a decent showing in NYC and if he pounds away at him being a real New Yorker as opposed to carpet bagger Hillary and works hard at getting a big blue collar turnout he could take NY. As for Cali he will need a huge white/Asian turnout and very low black/Hispanic turnout, the fact Hillary does not inspire high turnout gives him a remote shot there, if Reagan can do it so can he, this is one of those demographic changing elections we have every few decades that is obvious.
