You really missed a couple major points, you forgot to mention the whole near failure and bail out way back in the 80's? They bounced back from that. The other big thing you missed is COMPETITION, not only did the Japanese bike companies develop little Harley knock offs but Indian Motorcycles was reborn, the ORIGINAL American bike, they make a better product at a lower price $7500 for entry level Scout 60 and $12,900 for a super sweet Scout Bobber. Most people I know driving the Japanese Harley imitations are 25-35 and the Indians are 30-40. Being the media SJW's you are you seem to blame an "image problem" of old white men yet you yourself pointed out their earlier attempt to get women and minorities into bikes failed, you cannot force people to like something they don't, give the racial gender crap a rest, people are sick of it. Also your screw America free trader crap is also over, especially after Corona, why don't people like you just leave since you have no love or loyalty to this country?
