  2.  @zarasbazaar  People back then used to beat other men near to death for an insult, people shot each other over grazing land, shooting a man's dog or horse would get you dead as a door nail and no one would say anything. Tom Horn was a hired killer, there is a difference, that is why he was fired and ended up hanged.
