  1. I think the rise of Christianity in the Ukraine post Soviet era will eventually pay demographic dividends with 85% being practicing Christians while only 55% of Russians are. Post war there will be a baby boom both based on human instinct, see the Jewish baby boom among the Holocaust survivors even while they were still in Allied recovery camps, in addition billions in a Marshall like plan will be poured into Ukraine providing work and better economic conditions spurring birth rates plus integration into Europe will help the economy. I see religious conservative Ukraine following a path similar to Hungary where the birth rate has gone up.
