I am sorry to say this but I think your bias regarding Turkey is showing, Turkey has engaged in virtual genocide against the Kurds for years, so fighting back to defend your people is "harming Turkey's population" maybe if Turkey quit killing Kurds, returned to a democracy rather than a dictatorship then maybe the Kurds would let slide the ages of imperialistic control of their lands. This situation with Finland and Sweden could result in Turkey being suspended from NATO at the late June meeting, which should have happened years ago to the Erdogan regime for its constant provocations against Greece. Finland and Sweden are getting in no matter what.

March 2022 we are on the verge of WW3, just today 2 politicians and a media figure all associated closely with Putin threatened to nuke Warsaw Poland and two openly discussed grabbing a land corridor to Kaliningrad. Ukraine though is showing that everyone is better equipped and trained than Russian troops and the issues are not just with conscripts, I watched a airborne unit act like they had never even been through boot camp, they were coming under fire and completely clueless, 4 weeks into the war Russia still does not control Ukrainian airspace, that said the Russian military's weakness probably makes Putin's use of nuclear weapons more likely than ever.

I think if China got the chance they would try to take everything East of the Urals, they would just expel or kill the Russian population and send in hordes of forced Han settlers, they probably would at that point just take Mongolia and the Central Asian countries as well if no one stopped them from taking 2/3rds of Russia.
