When Iran nationalized its oil industry about 40 years ago, it blocked US oil companies from accessing Iran's oil. This is the real reason why the US has been trying to force regime change in Iran by waging economic war on Iran with sanctions, and literally surrounding Iran with military bases and warships. If Trump does not want war like he says, maybe he should stop trying to provoke it.
