  1. The COVID-19 virus did not come from China. Virologists from China, Taiwan, and Japan have identified multiple strains of the coronavirus in this pandemic. The Wuhan Virology lab in China stored only one strain of the coronavirus. The US is the only country that has developed multiple strains. China notified the US about the outbreak in early Jan, but Trump wasted valuable weeks during which the virus spread like wildfire. First, he called it a "China hoax." Then he said it will soon disappear "like a miracle." And now, he and Navarro are desperately looking for scapegoats. It's political damage control.
