  1. Everyone uses the internet infrastructure, so it should be owned and operated by everyone as well. There is no reason that one company should own a public service, all that does is needlessly throw our hard earned money into the pockets of someone exploiting us.

The big corporations can already censor what you see, theses no difference other then the fact that if naturalized it will be cheaper because there won’t be a greedy business man skimming profits off the system. Also if our government gets reformed into a proper democracy then we would have full control of the nationalized system. i got to see first hand how censored our American internet is, when I was overseas my phone, and my foreign girlfriends phone brought up wildly different results, the results on her phone being far more useful and relevant, while the results on mine were the standard garbage that usually appears when searching the web I America. I had a Thai SIM card in my phone, as well as using fresh private browsers on both phones, so there should be no algorithm history to influence results.
