They have machines that separate everything, but it’s not very effective, often getting contaminated with not recyclable items, causing large amounts of recyclable naturals to end up in landfills anyway. It is much better to sort the materials in the first place , rather then mix them together then sort them.

  2. Radioactive particles don’t evaporate, that’s why distillation is the best way to purify water, of course they are not evaporating it, they are dumping it into the ocean, so the ocean will be affected.

  3. Moral of the story, your plastic ends up in a landfill, or the ocean. Just carry a reusable bottle with you, it’s not that hard.
