I agree that understanding the value of hard work and responsibility is important, but we’ve reached a point where people are working hard and still feel like they’re barely keeping up let alone getting ahead. The debt burdens from education, housing, and healthcare along with trying to save for a retirement when asset prices like stocks are extremely expensive is a bit too much nowadays.

  3. Honestly, older generations keep coming up with excuses. If they were truly concerned about preserving wealth, they could easily set up municipal bond ETFs for their children that yield 3% to 6% monthly and include a stipulation in their will preventing the fund from being closed for at least 10 years. But let’s face it. This isn’t really about financial strategy. It's greed!
