  2. I think your take on interest rates is off. It looks like the 'bond kings' are bracing for a shift in administrations, hinting that new policies will lead to inflation. It's wild how these financial giants, with billions at stake, are focused on what’s coming next rather than just the present situation. I had to rewrite that comment three times for it to stick.... Youtube is terrible.

  7. They give you interest.... 0.10% Having said that, you should only keep just enough money in a regular bank to pay bills. Don't hold your extra cash there. If you have a bit of extra money not ready to be placed in a retirement account yet, just put it in a CD or municipal bonds. You'll get 3% to 6% interest a month and can sell the bonds as needed. For the most part, the "proper" municipal bonds are stable. Don't expect to get rich holding them, but they pay much more than your regular bank.
