I'm seeing some decent drops in computer prices. I've been looking for a solid new computer under $1300, and over the last week on Amazon I've seen prices drop on numerous computers I'm interested in. Especially for the Ryzen 7 series.

Oh god, please stop discussing student loans unless you get to the fundamental reason why they became a burdensome debt issue and so outrageously expensive. It was planned that way from the start, and that's why laws were written to prevent bankruptcy on those loans. Student loans were packaged into securities like mortgages and sold to wealthy people as guaranteed income. And the only way to guarantee it was to prevent bankruptcy on those loans. Sure, there are other reasons, but that is the very fundamental reason they become a massive debt issue for individuals and the country as a whole. Because let's be real. Most of those students are going to die with that debt unpaid and taxpayers are going to eat it anyway. Better to clear the loans now and let those students contribute to society properly.

It's always fun hearing a struggling company blame the macro economic environment for its bad management. I remember FEDEX doing that a year or two ago, yet UPS and other major companies continued reporting strong earnings. And Walmart is expecting a strong holiday shopping season.

@treesnmoguls Okay, I'll keep it simple. Let people file bankruptcy on student loans. They'll be punished for 7 to 10 years when trying to take out loans for other things. That is the endgame. It will make lenders more choosy when loaning out large sums of money to people with skeptical degrees going to irreputable colleges.

Not sure the health of the economy has anything to do with these retail stores closing. People changed their buying habits and prefer shopping online because there are a lot more choices. I only go to an actual brick and mortar retail store for food, home repair items, and maybe a carpet for the bathroom.

In reference to the dismissal of student loans. Who decides what is constitutional? A Supreme Court that many view as compromised? The reality is that those in power often disregard constitutional principles, exploiting loop holes to pursue their own agendas while dismissing the needs and desires of the general public with claims of unconstitutionality.

I think he is a little late to the party. The next four years are finally going to wake most people up. Unfortunately, it will be after the inevitable major economic crash and possibly a major global war. Our only hope is A.I. can ease the pain and safely transition us into a more responsive form of government.

Do you have a boat? If so, do a video from the boat!

"Not constitutional to do this" And who interprets whether it is constitutional? A crooked supreme court? Because let's be honest. The people in power don't care what is constitutional. They always find loopholes to do what they want and use the excuse "not constitutional" to avoid doing what average people want.
