  2. We had a house full of nice things when I was growing up. I never understood how we could afford all of it. I eventually learned my stepfather maxed out his credit cards and filed bankruptcy. He repeated the process again and again after 7 years when the bankruptcy cleared. He also told me if wealthy people can take advantage of the system why can't he?

  3. The retail spending report today (Friday) was well below what was expected this month. It was NEGATIVE. That is not good.

  4. Planning to put a new computer on credit card soon. I need to hurry up because mine is 7 or 8 years old and the mother board is in the early stages of failing. Unfortunately, I didn't jump at the Xmas holiday specials and now there is not much worth buying under $1250.

  8.  @ArcticAnalysis  True, but the mother board is starting to fail: The computer frequently crashes, freezes, and reboots on its own without warning. This happens during regular usage or even during bootup. Also, the on/off switch only works sometimes. And I know it isn't a power supply issue cause I tested it. Honestly not worth fixing the computer at this stage. Not sure how much longer the motherboard will hold out.
