  1. Yea, I'm more worried who is going to pick up the mantle when he's gone. AoC could have been that person, but she's been way to quiet (maybe out of fear?) since the election. And when she does speak, I don't sense the urgency or anger in her approach.

  2. The middle part should also include how much easier it is to manipulate the prices of commodities like fossil fuels on the open market. It's harder to do that with renewables like solar panels, wind turbines, etc....

  3. Also, the longer we hold off on weaning ourselves off fossil fuels, the more we'll fall behind the rest of the world that is doing it as we speak. These guys are only worried about the economic side of things when it affects their own wallets. They don't care how it affects the rest of us.
