  1. The report says they lost contact 1 hour and 45 mins into the trip. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to get to the titanic. So they were probably over 2 miles underwater. It’s highly unlikely they survived Pray for the best, prepare for the worse.

  2.  @joehaverlock5385  from what I understand and from what I learned from watching some titanic documentaries. It take more force (weight) to go down further. You figure the pressure you’re meeting as you descend to the depths of the titanic. The pressure alone is a repellent of what direction you want to go. From what I heard Cameron say you’re only going 15mph at best he said speed ranges from 5mph to 15mph. But even going that speed to go 2.5 miles and it takes 2 1/2 hours. That’s some serious force against your vessel

  3.  @joehaverlock5385  that’s what I’m thinking… there’s the strong underwater current factor too. That vessel can be god knows where by now. They’ve been underwater for almost 2 days now or just over 2 days.
