  1. When the hell is Toyota going to learn that cost cutting is evident in their newer cars? Hard touch plastic once again yet here in Canada this cars will push $30k+ new with options. I guess they won't make changes to their interiors because the sheeple who drive newer Toyotas are keeping the execs pockets lined.

  2. Based on how newer Toyotas are holding up I would say they cut costs on major suspension components as well. People are complaining about early strut replacements, bushings going squeaky and wheel bearing issues. Plus you can't forget the sudden acceleration issue. I do think that one issue was blown out of proportion by the media but Toyota handled that problem poorly.
