  1. The VQ35 and 37 HR motors are harsh at higher RPMs. The older VQ motors were silky smooth in comparison, you can act like shit don't stink but there's no denying in this case.

  2. I never said they were bad motors. They're bulletproof reliable but if Nissan/Infiniti can't get the smoothness right especially when they managed that in the past it kind of reflects bad on them. It's when Nissan/Infiniti rolled out these new engines that they stopped winning Wards 10 best. I have a 00 Maxima that has the VQ30 and it's smooth as silk and is award winning, why can't the new ones be like that?
