  1. fanowner12 VWs aren't reliable though the TDI motor is solid. It's far more refined than this Cruze so I'd go for the Jetta/Golf too. I'd probably buy a 1 or 2 year old model because VW tosses in the CPO warranty with an extra 2year/40,000km warranty so in some cases you get a better warranty than just the basic 4 year/80,000 km.
