  1. Great engine. Simple pushrod and port injected engine. People and companies that use these will be able to afford the extra gas. What they can't afford is all of the downtime a modern diesel will spend at the dealership because some emissions crap failed on it. Between the DEF, DPF, fuel filters, multiple sensors and computer issues modern diesels are terrible and need that crap deleted before they become reliable.
