  1. Not really. Just be weary of the plastic cooling pipes and change them at the 100k mark even if they're not cracked. Also, changing over to a water pump with a metal impeller would also be a good idea. Those are the only 2 weak spots on a BMW, they're rock solid otherwise and fun to drive.
