  1. I would say right now the Focus and the Cruze is winning in the compact car segment because they offer a lot for little money in comparison to the Corolla and Civic. Both the Cruze and Focus have great interiors, exteriors, features and good ride/handling. The Corolla and Civic have gone back in quality and the Koreans aren't quite up there yet. The MT Focus would make the best of what it has to offer.

  2. Whiles you're mostly right do realize the Civic is being redesigned for 2013 because the 2012 was such a disappointment. The interior quality is horrid in comparison to the previous generation and the design is a bit "Korean". Also, performance isn't all that either as older Civic Si cars were more fun.
