  1. That One Ford Guy I wouldn't say lower class and that doesn't make much sense when you say "people who want a Mercedes but can't afford one" as this is a Benz. It's definitely basic but it has all of the things that made MB famous in the first place. It's solid and well built and you do feel it when going down the road or hell even when you close the doors. It's also safe and it's a refined package altogether. Sure it doesn't have the latest tech but let's be honest nobody really needs backup camera, lane departure warning and a host of other nannies that could fail. This SUV and the C Class won't break the bank to maintain but still be a cut above the rest which is definitely a win in this category.

  2. Only you can make that choice as they're both excellent cars, it just boils down to what you prefer. Test drive several examples of both and if you can look for a CPO or purchase an extended warranty. Both are excellent in terms of ride, handling, features, style and capability.

  3. I actually prefer the MB Tex. Easy to maintain and condition and it wears more evenly than leather. The majority of E Classes have MB Tex and many owners love it.
